We will be working with SBP again this year.  It will be our 7th year working with them.

SBP is a rebuilding nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that disaster-impacted communities recover in a prompt, efficient, and predictable way. It was founded in 2006 by Liz McCartney and Zack Rosenburg, 2 volunteers from the DC area who came to New Orleans to help, and decided they couldn’t leave.

After Katrina, 100% if the homes in St Bernard Parish were declared unfit to live in. With the help of close to 100,000 volunteers, SBP has rebuilt more than 600 homes in the Greater New Orleans area since 2006, more than 15 of them with help from our NOLAteers.
